On January 17 Community of Christ’s Prophet-President Steven M. Veazey presented two letters of Counsel to the church with the intent that they shall be considered by the 2010 World Conference. In Q&A regarding them indication was made that there could be slight changes from what was presented on that date and what will be formally submitted at conference for consideration. They Are:
Letter of Counsel about the Presiding Quorums
This first document is regarding releases and calls of particular individuals to particular World Church Leadership Quorums.
Counsel to the Church
This document is planed to be presented to the World Conference for consideration into the Doctrine and Covenants. If approved for inclusion it would become Doctrine and Covenants Section 164. The First Presidency has presented insight on this document though a series of Questions and Answers and also an Interview with Steve Veazey:
