Thursday 10 April,I embarked on a trip to Independence. If you had told me then what would happen between then and now, I perhaps would have had a hard time understanding, realizing, or believing.
I am not the same as I was that day, the path of life has been interesting. New struggles and new joys. Out of which I have come to new understanding, realization, about myself, about others, about community. Some from the experiences there in Independence as I learned and shared with others. But much came through the events following, the compassion experienced, the caring presence of others, the quite reflections coming to mind as the birds sang their songs, the wind rustling the emerging life of spring, and the sun glistening in the sky of blue, pulsing down and bringing warmth and life.
I thank the eternal for the wonderful community I am blessed to be part of. For a loving family here in Kirtland that holds me, challenges me, uplifts me, cares for me. I am surly blessed, and I must respond and work with this community and others to that day when all can experience the joy, love, peace, and grace of the eternal in community and know they are just as blessed if not more so.
Peace be with you all,
