World Conference is near, oh so near. A reflection paper to write, a mid-program review, four class sessions, a group meeting and presentation, and then I am free to hit the road.
I can hardly wait til Wednesday afternoon.. or rather Thursday morning (or perhaps afternoon) when I roll on into Independence. If I have net access during conference I will try and post thoughts and reflections throughout the week. I will also try and upload pics to my flickr account. (I still don’t have a camera but my dad sent me his to use along with return postage). If I don’t have access I will still try and write throughout the week and upon my return (probably Monday 2 April) I will upload the posts from Conference along with pictures. Then its up to Kirtland to spend time at the new Visitor’s center, worship, help out and deliver the communion set. Again I will try and post, or at least upload some photos during that time. Then it will be back into the thick of it, as I must give a sermon in class on the 9th.
So stay tuned, and remember Lyle’s World Conference 2007 Share Christ, Share Peace journey starts Wednesday afternoon EDT as soon as he has the car packed and ready to go. (okay it started months ago, but the physical journey starts then).
