I have two choices for my future from which I must make a decision in the near future. There are pluses and minuses to both options.
The first option is to return to the community I know at the School of Theology and Ministry (STM) and switch to the Master of Arts in Pastoral Studies (MAPS). If I do this I will have all but one elective and an internship completed at the end of the year. Do a course next summer and the internship next year would see me in a Master’s gown in June 2008.
The second option is to change schools once more and move to Ohio. At this school I would be in a dual degree program working toward my Master’s of Divinity (M.Div.) and also a Masters of Arts is Counseling Ministries (MACM). I think with this route, and transferring the credits I currently have earned that will transfer that with three years of full time I could be done. Also depending on scheduling of classes I might be able to volunteer at a place dear to me in the church…
Hmm, decisions…. I only have a couple of weeks to make up my mind. Much prayer and meditation is needed….

These can be very difficult desicions to make. I will be praying for you brother, just know that if you follow your heart, you are following God.
