I have recently received an e-mail from the communication coordinator of one of my home congregations. I do not know enough to feel comfortable giving specifics here, but…We live in a world where people do not always treat each other well. We live in a world were people are persecuted for believing differently than others. We live in a world were people cause others pain, cause others to fear… and do so on purpose.
My prayers go out to all people in all places. May we one day all live in harmony, embrace each other in love no matter our vast differences in beliefs and heritage. May those working toward this goal be strengthened and comforted in their efforts, no matter what difficulties they may face. May those who do things that hinder the peaceable kingdom have their hearts, minds and souls open up, may they receive the healing that they need and someday promote and share the love and peace that is for all.
