Morning Prayer (Xanga

January 26, 2005 @ 8:14 am

The past week has been an interesting time. I have spent a great deal of time reading for my classes, but have also spent time catching up on a few things that I have been putting off for some time.

It has also been a week full of worship above and beyond the norm. Tues-Fri. of last week and Mon-Tues. of this week there was morning prayer each day being planed and presided over by various traditions, last week on Tuesday there was also the ecumenical worship service in the evening. It has been interesting to worship with people in so many different ways and in doing so to learn how others within the greater Christian movement celebrate and worship. I wonder if someday during my time here at STM if I will aid in attempting to present a Community of Christ worship experience, only time will tell.

It is a glorious day today, and I go off to school in joy and with hope.

Peace be with one and all,
