Today was a wonderful, if tiring day. I woke up at about 5:10am and looked at my watch and thought the hands said it was 6:15, and yet no one was up and my mom has to leave the hous around 6:30 for work, and I was to drive her. So I got up and found it was only 5:12 and was relived. I ended up taking my mom to work and then drove over the river and picked up my niece. Yesterday she was sick and so we had to postpone our trip til today. I was over at my sister’s place for about 1 1/2 hours before my niece was up and ready, and then we drove back over the river, through the fog, into the woods, and up and down the hills to the Falls. The sky was nice and clear, but it was a tad cold. I think we walked arroud 5 1/2 miles or so and saw 6 of the main falls, both of us were tired and sore. I should have taken the advil before we started out as I have had severe problems and pain all week long with my back, but all the water fountins at the park were off, and as I can’t swollow pills, I went without until we were done and drivin into town for lunch. After lunch we walked arround the mall a bit, picked up my mom, and then my mom and I dropped off my niece. After arriving home my body shut down and I took a nap for a bit.
I am verry glad I went to the falls this morning, it was nice to spend some time with my niece and also to spend time enjoying God’s creation… The forest was alive with celebration.. I know for some that may be hard to understand, but truly the the spirits of all that make up the forest were alive in wounder… words do not truly express, and so I am sue I have mislead some who have read that… but then maybe I have not. God truly made a beautiful place with Silver falls….
This evening my cat has been bossy, and as I wrote this she started to attack my foot, it’s good to see her playful.
Peace be to one and all
