Originally my plan for Christmas break plans were to spend sometime here at my place in Seattle, do some reading, make bread, mess around with my computer, explore some more, rest & relax and work on a Christmas Eve service. Then grab a train down to my parents place, spend a couple days with them which would include the Christmas eve service I’m working on for Salem, and then on the 26 going to church with my parents at Tuality, then jump back on the train and come home to a grumpy cat who had been alone for a few days. This week that all changed. After talking with my parents and them telling they were going to come get me, and after e-mailing people at Rainier Valley, I am no longer in the service on the 19th and my parents are coming up tomorrow to get me and I probably won’t get back home til the 2nd, with classes starting on the 3rd.
I hope my cat is okay with this. I think she has gotten use to our little apartment and having no one else around, but for the next three weeks both of us will be at my parents, where there are other animals, and if they still have a flea problem at their house, that means a flea bath for Tiger right before we return home.
I might be able to arrange a way back prior to the 2nd to give me a little time here before my second term starts.
Oh I finished my Christian Anthro paper Tuesday right before midnight and sent it off, and the realized after I hit send that I hadn’t done the proofreading I wanted to do, but that’s life…
I wonder if Tore might have some free time… need to talk with him again….
Peace
