Am I that memorable?

November 24, 2004 @ 5:17 pm

Do to the fact that I will not be with others tomorrow (read last post), I decided to go out this afternoon and spend, that which I can not truly afford to spend, on lunch/dinner. So I jumped on a buss around 1:25 or so, after a short trip got off, almost missing my stop as I wasn’t paying attention. The walked a block or two to Red Robin. I stood and waited a few minutes, and then this waiter/host (not sure which he was) seated me. As we got to the table, the same one by the window that I sat at in my one and only previous visit to this Particular Red Robin, he asked me if I wanted to start off with ice tea again. (can’t remember the words  he used exactly). I was surprised as the last time I was there was several weeks ago, and it was my only time, so to be remembered, and have what I drank remembered was, well shocking/surprising/amazing.As I sat there and ate, I also worked a bit on Reflecting the Sacred Story the Christmas Eve Service I am planning in Salem OR. I did a bit more on it, then my focus changed toward working on ideas for a Greater Seattle Area Young Adult ministry…. more on that in the future I hope…. I better not give up on this idea.  In fact I think I will e-mail a few young adults I know who live elsewhere in the country, and try to get their input. Then take that input, my ideas and thoughts, and put together a proposal, and if all goes well the next phase would be to try and get an idea of the YA’s in this area, their wants, needs, and then get the ministry(ies) started….
