The weekend in brief (xanga)

October 25, 2004 @ 4:07 pm

Friday Morning I arose nice and early. Catching a bus at the corner, I was quickly whisked away into downtown where I got off at Union station and walked the two blocks to King Station. There I waited for a bit of time, and then boarded a train. I rode on that train to the end of the line, arriving at Portland’s Union Station. I stayed there for some time. Then my parents arrived and I climbed into their car. We drove a bit, we stopped and ate and then drove some more. We went and saw my sister, and picked up her kids. We picked up a few items at the store and eventually my parents and I arrived at their house, where I spent the night. Then I got up, along with my dad, back into the car, back to Portland, but not to Union Station, but Rather the Portland Congregation of Community of Christ. There we participated in worship, fellowship, and legislation and more. We returned that eve to my parent’s place, to once more awake, now all three to Portland, to more worship, fellowship, and legislation. The back to the house, a nap for me, some packing, and then back to Union Station in Portland, this time though I was not alone, I traveled with a bike. Then back to King Station. My bike and I took off, through the downtown core, we walked and rode at times. Then I jumped onto a bus, after putting my bike on front of it. Off the bus, grabbed the bike, and Home I was. To find my cat, a mouthy one, but soon forgave she did.
