It’s been a little over a week since the last time I wrote and I do apologize… I am still trying to get use to everything.
Well I just glanced over my past entries and am surprised to realized I have not mentioned… or at least didn’t notice a mention of one of the big things that has happened to me in the past couple of weeks. On the Last Sunday of September, I was elected by two different congregations of the Greater Pacific Northwest USA (GPNW) Mission Center to be a delegate at the GPNW Mission Center Conference that is to be held on the 23/24 of this month and so the conference manager will be dealing with that for me… I have a feeling I will be representing Salem, though I could be representing TCC, also on that same day I had placed my name into nomination for Rainier Valley, but have since removed my name upon finding out that I am a delegate, for one of two congregations.
School is going well so far though I have not done all the reading that I should have by the date I should have, but I will soon get that fixed.
This weekend I went and explored a bit, took the bus out to the U District and back and also over to Queen Anne to have a little idea of those areas. Therefore, I am slowly getting to know this place I live in.
Yesterday I got up, spent some time, decided to go to the prayer at campus, and well got out of the shower at the time the bus I needed to take was at the corner, so I left the house at 8:12, caught the 7 which took me to Seattle Central Community College a few blocks from SU, walked to SU and got there just after it started, but I did make it! Would have made it if the lights had been reversed in my walking part…  The after talking with a fellow classmate for a bit, I walked home, then around 1:30 was heading back to the bus to go downtown and see SAM (Seattle Art Museum) it’s small compared to some of the ones I have seen… but still nice, and will be growing, in 2007 the new larger portion will open, so even more art.  Oh… Wed I finally bought a lamp for the living room and so now have light in here.
 
Currently I am trying to decide if this Sunday I will go to Rainier or if I will check out one of the other congregations in the area. Rainier is having a Priesthood meeting and also elections for delegates, the last I can just sit and do nothing, as I am a member of TCC, but the first I could participate in…will just have to wait and see I guess.
Well, I’ve got an hour before I have to catch the bus, so I’m off to do a few things like clean the cat box, shower, get dressed, brush my teeth, get my bag in order.. and if I have time, read the news and eat breakfast.
